Looking for a Career in Social Care?

Personal Assistants (commonly called PAs) are directly employed by people who receive health and/or social care funding. They make a difference every day by helping people live their lives and remain independent in their own homes.

A Personal Assistant is a varied and interesting role, which offers an opportunity to work directly for the person requiring support.

While there are essential tasks which may be required on a regular basis, one of the advantages of the PA role is the breadth of opportunity for the employee to support the individual with a variety of different tasks.

Previous experience as a PA is not essential – the right attitude and willingness to learn is just as important. You need to be caring, patient, understanding, reliable and flexible. Training opportunities are available.
