Additional Expenses: £25 to £40 per week towards petrol and tunnel costs where required.
Purpose of the role
A friendly, reliable and flexible Personal Assistant is required to provide support to an individual living in Eastham, Wirral. This is a varied and rewarding role helping to maintain independence and support day-to-day activities.
Main Duties
No two days are the same. Support may include:
- Accompanying to appointments
- Helping with shopping and errands
- Meal preparation
- Supporting with household tasks, including laundry and light cleaning.
- Walking and caring for a friendly dog when required
- Accompanying on social outings in the Wirral, Liverpool and surrounding areas.
- Providing support during social activities and trips
- Encouraging and promoting independence at all times.

Personal Assistant Specification
We are looking for someone who is:
- Friendly, approachable and easy to get along with
- Reliable, punctual and patient
- Organised and able to manage changing priorities
- Comfortable supporting at appointments and in the community
- Happy to assist with practical household tasks
- Comfortable around dogs
- A confident driver with access to their own vehicle
- Able to travel throughout the Wirral and into Liverpool
- Capable of working independently and using their own initiative
- Respectful of confidentiality, privacy and personal boundaries
The successful candidate will be organised, approachable and comfortable adapting to changing plans while helping establish a regular routine where possible.
Experience
Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Carer, Support Worker or in a similar role would be beneficial but is not essential.
Full training and guidance can be provided for the right person.
Relevant qualifications and experience may attract a higher rate of pay.
