This role is to support an independent adult living with physical disabilities, focused on building a stable, structured routine and increasing independence. Values a calm, organised home environment and enjoys music and creativity.
A reliable, respectful, and adaptable Personal Assistant (PA) is required to provide flexible, person-centred support to an adult with physical disabilities living independently.
The role combines home-based support, community access, and light cleaning tasks, adjusted weekly based on needs.
One main PA and one backup PA are sought to ensure consistency and flexibility.

Main Duties
Home & Personal Support:
- Meal preparation, batch cooking, and light food support
- Laundry, bed making, and household organisation
- Supporting daily routines, appointments, and planning
- Personal care (e.g. grooming, hair, nails)
- Assistance with therapy exercises and mobility support
- Running errands, food shopping, and admin tasks
- Monitoring supplies and noting completed/outstanding tasks
Community Access:
- Attending appointments and social activities
- Collecting prescriptions, shopping, and deliveries
- Supporting outings, travel, and occasional holidays
Cleaning Duties (primarily Thursdays & Sundays):
- General cleaning (kitchen, bathroom, living areas)
- Hoovering, mopping, dusting, and sanitising surfaces
- Laundry and changing bed linen
- Organising spaces for accessibility
- Managing bins and restocking essentials
Personal Assistant Specification
The role requires professionalism, discretion, and respect for privacy. You should be organised, proactive, and able to balance independent working with a supportive presence. Flexibility is essential, as needs may vary week to week, including occasional remote tasks.
- Strong spoken and written English

Purpose of the role
I am a 58-year-old Male living in NW1 Camden London. I am Autistic and living with ADHD and I require a Personal Assistant/Carer to support me with my needs.
I would like to be able to build a good trusting relationship with someone that can provide compassionate support, helping me to live as comfortable and independent as possible.
Applicants must have a warm personal nature with the ability to work with tact and understanding of my needs.
It is important that any applicants can communicate in a clear, structured and precise manner.
I am interested in food and cooking and learning how to support my health holistically.
Main Duties
- Provide structured weekly support with keeping my environment safe and tidy
- Support with paying bills, shopping and other financial and life administration whilst I remain actively involved
- Provide support with accessing the community in a safe and comfortable manner which will allow me to grow in confidence in the wider community

- My assistant must have experience working in an accessible way and meeting communication needs (as per the Accessible Information standards).
- A key need of mine is that communication needs to be clear and spelt out. I need time to process information and express myself. This is crucial so that there is mutual understanding.

Purpose of the Role
The purpose of this role is to provide reliable, respectful and person-centred support to the Service User, enabling them to maintain their independence, dignity, wellbeing and quality of life.
The Personal Assistant will support the Service User with agreed personal care, domestic tasks, daily living activities, community access and other reasonable duties connected with their care and support needs.
The role requires trust, professionalism, confidentiality and respect for the Service User’s choices, preferences and rights.
Main Duties
- Assisting with washing, bathing and personal hygiene.
- Assisting with dressing and undressing. #
- Supporting continence care where required.
- Supporting grooming and maintaining personal presentation.
- Promoting dignity, privacy and independence during all personal care activities.
- Meal Preparation and Nutrition Support
Support the Service User with food and drink requirements, including:

Medication Support
