As self-directed care & support has been embraced across the health and social care sectors, organisations across the third, not-for-profit and for-profit sectors have risen to respond to the needs of individuals and funding organisations.
You may be small, local organisations run by volunteers, maybe you have national reach and/or a range of services encompassing much more than self-directed care and support. Typically, you are on the frontline and trusted experts in your field, but the challenge you sometimes face is having suitable systems and processes to support that work.
What we do
If you are a personal assistant or a care provider supporting individuals, you can use our digital platform for direct payments (called Virtual Wallet) to help you interact with individuals and get paid on time. There is no cost and you can find out more information here.
If you are a provider organisation that already has, or is interested in establishing an 'Individual Service Fund' (ISF) proposition, we have collaborated with the social enterprise Self Directed Futures to create ISF Wallet. ISF Wallet brings together Self Directed Futures' passion & expertise in relation to ISFs and our Virtual Wallet solution to offer a simple & low-cost solution with no investment or risk. If you are a direct payment support service, we would love to add you to our growing list of partners. This could be with your providing frontline advice and support alongside some of our services or it could be behind the scenes, with us powering digital elements of your service. Either way the aim is that you can focus on your core competencies and together we make self-directed care and support easier.
We already have integration with many other systems used across the sector and an open approach to collaboration and APIs.
