What we do
Our passionate team have a wealth of experience across the health and social care sector and work across multiple cohorts, including childrens services, older people, continuing healthcare, mental health, end-of-life care and personal wheelchair budgets.
We work with over 20 funding authorities across the UK, managing over £120m of direct payments annually.
We can support the entire direct payment process from initial information & advice through to financial audit. We were originally established in 2008, as a joint venture with the pioneering personalisation charity In Control. Whilst they are no longer involved from a corporate perspective, the original ethos of putting the citizen at the heart of everything remains.
What can you save?
PPL have developed a savings calculator that enables us to model potential savings for funding authorities from direct payments and personal health budgets. The estimates range from 5% to 25%, depending on variables such as the cohort and budget deployment model, but we would expect a funding authority to be able to prudently forecast a net saving of at least 10% of the overall budget spend.
