Payroll Services: Let PPL take care of the paperwork
The PPL Payroll service was developed to complement our other Direct Payment services. We understand that employing one or several Personal Assistants can be time-consuming for individual employers. We are also sensitive to the fact that PAs need reliable payments, on time, every time.
With that in mind, PPL have developed our in-house payroll service to pay PAs alongside other care services, paid for via Virtual Wallet, within the PPL Portal.
Services include:
- Online completion of timesheets and approvals
- Digital payslips direct to your employee
- Sick and maternity pay calculations
- Student Loan repayments
- Electronic filings with HMRC
- Pension calculations and payments.
Where you look after your own funds, the relevant information will be provided to you, so that you can pay the PAs wages from your direct payment. Where you have a Supported or Managed Account with PPL, then we will make those payments on your behalf.
In addition to our standard payroll service, PPL also offers our Payroll Plus service that, in addition to the PPL payroll service, also includes:
- Employer's Insurance (via Mark Bates)
- Membership of Independent Living Group
