Directories

Directories

Our Directories enable people to discover up-to-date information on care and support provision in the local area.

Many of the directories that we provide focus on free, or low-cost community groups and local activities, although they can also include regulated organisations such as care homes, home care and childcare, and private commercial organisations.

We work in partnership with our clients to design solutions that align with their asset-based community development initiatives, social prescribing approaches or the simple aim of gently 'nudging' people towards self-service.

Key features include:

  • Bespoke design - we can create an independent brand for you, or match an existing web design
  • Intuitive search, including mapping, facets and filters
  • Star ratings and reviews
  • Integration with 3rd parties, to give real-time ratings, e.g. CQC or Ofsted ratings
  • Editing interface for non-technical users, including providers themselves

How can you use our Directories?

"Having worked with our partners and stakeholders to develop and refine our Local Offer, we then needed a partner that could not only deliver the technological solution but also understood our needs and aims. The PPL team have been responsive and dynamic, working to a very tight timescale and offering much more to us than 'just' a website."

Gavin Arnold, Project Officer, Children and Family Services, Hull City Council
